Length of Studies

A Bachelors Degree in the U.S usually takes 4 years. A Masters degree takes an additional 1-2 years.

Most universities have two-semesters in a year. The school year starts with the first semester in Aug/Sept and goes until December and the second Semester starts in January and ends in May. Most universities also give students the opportunity to take classes during the winter and summer breaks.

Most student athletes start their studies in the fall to be able to compete in their sport.
