Who can apply?
All High School (Gymnasium) students are eligible to apply. However, it is important that the student meet all the core-requirement classes. For questions please contact Scandinavian Sports.
The application process takes time and we strongly recommend students to start the process in their junior year.
Most universities also require international students to take the TOEFL test as well as the SAT-test. More info below.
TOEFL* is a Test of English as a Foreign Language.
The Test of English as a Foreign Language evaluates the potential success of an individual to use and understand Standard American English at a college level. It is required for non-native applicants at many English-speaking colleges and universities. Additionally, institutions such as government agencies, businesses, or scholarship programs may require this test. A TOEFL score is valid for two years and then is deleted from the official database. Colleges and universities usually consider only the most recent score.
SAT Reasoning Test *
The SAT Reasoning Test is a standardized test for college admissions in the United States. The SAT is administered by the College Board corporation, a non-profit organization in the United States, and is developed, published, and scored by the Educational Testing Service (ETS).
The current SAT Reasoning Test is administered in about 4 hours and the scores ranging from 600 to 2400 combining test results from three 800-point sections (math, critical reading, and writing).
